Lace up your running shoes for one of Charleston's FINEST trail runs! The 6th Annual Almost 9 Miler Trail Run starts at Halfway Creek Campground, which is off of Halfway Creek Road about a quarter mile from the intersection of Steed Creek Road. Runners will work their way UP the trail roughly 4.5 miles and then turn around and come back! The trail is pretty wide and mostly root free! You should have no problem running it OR passing fellow trail racers!

For the past 5 years we have based the starting format on the oldest trail race in America, the Dipsea Race. Runners are given a head start based on their age/gender the day of the event.

Prizes are awarded to the top 5 finishers and the youngest/oldest participants.

Homemade veggie soup and bread will be available to the runners after the event. 

Packet Pick-Up:

Morning of the race at Halfway Creek Campground from 0800-0830.

MUST REGISTER BY JANUARY 20th to get a pair of event inspired socks!


Cancellation Policy: This event will happen rain or shine.

Refund Policy: Due to the costs associated with the event, I do not issue refunds.
