Stampede in the Park 5K

The Friends of Science Park, sponsors of the event, are raising funds to support MD Anderson's graduate student program at the Smithville campus.  All funds raised at this event will be kept local and used for scholarships for graduate students working towards their PhD or MS at the Science Park Campus.  This event furthers the broad MD Anderson mission of eliminating cncer in Texas, the nation and the world.

Event details and schedule

Gate open at 8am; Race starts at 9am.  5k course starts at MD Anderson Campus through Buescher State Park and ends back at MD. Anderson Campus.  1M fun run/walk starts and ends on MD. Anderson Campus.  Strollers are welcome but please no bicycles or pets.  Onsite parking is limited, carpool if you can.  You are resonsible for all of your personal. items.
