_ The 2018 Conquer The Trail Race Series:

Come join us for our 4th year of the annual Conquer the Trail Race Series presented by The Mercy College Exercise Science Club.  The 5k and 10k races will take place on Sunday April 22nd, 2018 at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Both races will run out and back along the scenic, flat, and fast Old Croton Aqueduct Trail.

 A portion of the proceeds from the race will go to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation. 

The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization that works with The Madison Square Garden Company and MSG Networks, Inc. to positively impact the lives of children facing obstacles. The Foundation works with 30 partner organizations throughout the tri-state area, including hospitals, wish organizations and community-based organizations, to reach children who are facing challenges such as homelessness, extreme poverty, illness and foster care. Since it began in 2006, Garden of Dreams has used the magic of MSG and MSG Networks – including the Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, Rockettes, famed showplaces and two sports and entertainment networks – to brighten the lives of more than 350,000 children and their families. The Foundation takes pride in its commitment to truly change lives, hosting more than 500 events and programs each year. In addition, through its Garden of Dreams Giving program, the Foundation provides grants that fund important projects such as the refurbishment of gymnasiums and pediatric areas at local hospitals, and the construction of new dance and music studios. The Foundation also meets the critical needs of college-bound high school seniors by providing four-year scholarships to help students achieve their educational goals.

Event details and schedule

• Race-day registration and pre-registration packet pick-up will take place between 7:15am-8:30am. 
• Race Day Registration for both events will be $30
• Start times for the 5k AND 10k are at 9:00am
• Awards will immediately follow the finish of the 10k race.
• No strollers and no dogs allowed in the 5k race and 10k race.
• When parking at Mercy please follow signs for the event and directions by our volunteers. Parking is free.
• Please be aware the 5k and 10k are going ot be run mostly on trail, and although it is flat in regards to evelation there are rocks, stumps, and tree roots so please stay aware and paying attention throughout the race.
