_ The 2018 Man vs Mountain 5K:

Man vs Mountain is a fun unique winter 5K obstacle course that goes beyond the challenges of an obstacle course by pushing participants through the frigid winter elements of Michigan!  Run, climb, and traverse your way through and over obstacles that are strategically placed along the course.  The challenge takes you through Mt. Pleasant’s scenic park system along the Chippewa River.  We welcome participants ages 12 and up.

All runners receive the following with registration:

• 3.2 miles, 15+ Frigid Obstacles
• Man vs Mountain Long Sleeve Shirt
• Man vs Mountain Pint Glass
• Free Drink at Mountain Town
• CMU Winter Gloves
• FREE Photo's (NEW) - There will be designated stations to capture each participant.

Starting Time:

Waves beginning at 9:30am

Parking:

City Hall - 320 W. Broadway St. Mt. Pleasant, MI

Check-In:

Beginning at 8:30am at Mountain Town Station

Participants should check in no later than 30 minutes prior to wave start.

Awards:

Given to top male and female participant in each category:

12 - 15, 16 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+

Post Race Party:

Runners are welcome to spend share their experiences and warm up with food and drink within Mountain Town Station following the finish!  Awards will be announced following the race in Mountain Town Station.
