_ The 2018 Home Away From Home 5K/Half Marathon/Marathon:

Join us in Brunswick, New York, for a scenic 5K, half marathon, or marathon to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region. The 5K and half marathons are an out-and-back course. The marathon includes hills and dirt roads and offers beautiful mountain views.

Have little runners too? We are also offering a Kid's Fun Run, so sign them up today!   

Online registration is open until midnight on April 14, 2018. If you wish to register in person the morning of the race, we will be accepting CASH ONLY.

Event details and schedule

The 5K, half marathon, and marathon will all begin in the Brittonkill School parking lot.

The 5K and half marathon will go out and back on Tamarac Road (turnaround points will be CLEARLY marked and there will be aid stations for both distances), and end with a lap around the Brittonkill School track. The marathon course includes hills and sections of dirt road and offers the most beautiful mountain views, also ending with a lap around the Brittonkill School track.

Packet and bib pick-up will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, April 20th, in the Brittonkill School parking lot. If you are local, please consider stopping by on Friday night. Packets and bibs will also be available for pick-up starting at 8:00 on race morning.

Please arrive around 8:00 for a 9:00 start. There is parking at the school, and additional parking across the street at the soccer complex if needed.

Full and detailed race morning schedule, packet pick-up times, and raffle items will be posted to the event Facebook page.

Medals for all participants are included in entry fee. T-shirts are available at an additional cost until March 31, 2018.

This event IS NOT affiliated with the "Make it a Great Day" half marathon.

All proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region.
