Street Dog Dash 5K...

_ The 2018 Street Dog Dash 5K:

Join us at Etowah River park in Canton, GA for the Inaugural Street Dog Dash 5K.

Participants are invited to bring their dogs to walk/run with them as long as the animals are vaccinated, leashed, non-aggressive, and in good physical condition.  Their is a $5 fee for dogs to participate. 

The Cause: 

All proceeds will go towards funding educational programs and law changes fighting against the Dog Meat Trade in Asia, along with funding the rescue and rehabilitation of victims of the Dog Meat Trade. Part of the proceeds will also be given to local animal shelters.  For more information go to www.streetdogdash5K.com

Online and mail in registration ends 4/9/18

Early packet pickup: At Big Peach Running Company in Kennesaw between 5PM and 8PM on Friday 4/13/18.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7AM

5K starts at 8AM

Awards

Trophies to the top male and female finishers of various age groups. The top 3 dog finishers will receive an award.

Timing and Results

Finish line and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Series Affiliation

The race is part of the 2018 Black Bag Race Series.

Shirts and Goodies

Shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners by 3/14/17.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of fluids and fruit after the race. There will also be treats for your dogs.

Other Info:

In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
