_ The 2018 Monster Dash 5K and 1K Trick-or-Treat Trail:

In partnership with Racine MultiSports, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, MD, Inc. (BBBS) is hosting the Monster Dash 5K & 1K Trick-or-Treat Trail to raise funds for mentoring kids in our community. The mission of BBBS is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Your participation in our event directly supports our mission!  Please join us on Saturday, October 13 at Marty Snook Memorial Park in Hagerstown. Participation is open to all ages!

This is a SUPER fun, SPOOKTACULAR family event as runners challenge themselves and support the strong, trusting one-to-one friendships BBBS is helping to create. All proceeds are used locally to brighten the future of children in neighborhoods and communities throughout Washington County.

Costumes are STRONGLY encouraged (cannot interfere with other runners), and there will be prizes awarded to the top 5K winners and best costumes. T-shirts are guaranteed until September 30, so register early to ensure you receive one. Participants will also receive a Monster Dash 5K & 1K Trick-or-Treat Trail race bib as a memento!

New this year is the 1K Trick-or-Treat Trail! People of all ages are invited to run or walk the 1K, trick-or-treat and enjoy the other fun activities planned along the way. The top three finishers will receive ribbons.

The event will take place at Marty Snook Memorial Park (17901 Halfway Blvd., Hagerstown), with the 5K and 1K both beginning at 9AM.
