_ The 2018 Run Strong Whidbey 5k/10k:

We have a beautiful 5k/10k course planned through downtown Langley that showcases the beauty of Whidbey Island while raising funds to support the Whidbey Veterans Resource Center.   The Resource Center currently offers a variety of programs to connect, educate and serve our veterans and their families including support groups, referral and advocacy services for veterans medical services, disability and educational benefits and more.  With the profits of this event they hope to expand their ability to support our veterans in their job search efforts, ultimately offering job training classes.  Coming home after military service presents unique challenges.  Please help support our veterans by being part of this event.
