This event is a fundraiser benefiting the Galesburg to Peoria St Jude Run in honor of  8 year old Pyper Young, from Alexis, IL who is a pediatric brain cancer survivor. On August 5, 2017 a group of runners will make the 50 mile trek from Galesburg to Peoria to join with other satellite runs and welcome in the Memphis to Peoria Runners.  Proceeds from these runs will support the children and families at St Jude who are facing an unimaginable battle. With daily operating costs of $2 million dollars, no donation is too big or small.

We have partnered with Alexis Fire Equipment and are honored to have their support. Since September of 2016, Alexis Fire Equipment has donated $1,000  to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for each new fire truck they sold in the United States. We would like to thank them for their support and hope that you will come out and participate in the 5k and/or Kids Fun Run and make it a huge success for the kids.
