_ The 2018 Run the Runway 5k:

5K Run and 1 Mile Walk on the main runway and taxiways at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, Illinois. The course is USATF Certified and the 5K race is chip timed.

Join us at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, IL for our fourth annual Run the Runway at CEA (PWK)! This is a rare opportunity to run or walk on our main runway and taxiways! Our course is USATF certified and the 5K race will be chip timed. No dogs, strollers or skates, please. No refunds.

Registration:

Online Registration until May 31: $40
Online Late Registration - June 1 - June 30: $45 ONLINE price only
* Registrations after June 27th are not guaranteed a race shirt.

DAY OF EVENT
Online Registration will remain open until 8:00 am on June 30th at the rate of $45
Day of Registration at the event will be open at 7 am until 8 am.
-It will be a cash only; $50 per participate.

Day of Registration will be at the same tent as packet pickup, near the finish line; off of Tower Road and Milwaukee Avenue.

Space is limited, register early!

Krazy Fitt will be leading a pre-run stretch while lined up for the start of the event
Tentative Time: Begin around 7:45 am until 7:55 am

All proceeds and donations to the event will benefit a local charity for scholarships.

Specific organization has yet to be determined.

Come back to the airport after 5:00 pm and enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer tent, an aircraft static display and fireworks at the second annual joint venture between the Village of Wheeling, City of Prospect Heights and Chicago Executive Airport.
