_ The 2018 Run2Believe:

Memorial 5K honoring 2 victims killed by a drunk driver

Run2Believe is a 5k Run/Walk created to honor the memory of Kylie Jobe and Kyle Thornburg both graduates from Maize High School, held at the High School.  Kylie and Kyle, together became innocent victims of a drunk driver as they returned home from a ski trip over spring break in 2011.  In a tragic accident on I-70 when a man entered the interstate going the wrong direction.  He had a blood alcohol level of .23 - almost 3 times the legal limit.  All 3 were killed.

This Run is an opportunity to remember them, but most importantly, it is an opportunity to encourage every one to MAKE SMART DECISIONS TO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.  AND TO REMEMBER “21 MEANS 21”.  The event draws students, friends, family, co-workers, teammates, avid runners, walkers and community leaders.

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO HELP RAISE AWARENESS IN LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS ON THE ISSUES AGAINST DRINKING AND DRIVING AND SUPPORT MEMORIAL FUNDS IN THE NAMES OF KYLIE AND KYLE.

Please join us on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Maize High School for the 6th Annual Run2Believe.  Event begins at 9:00, with a pancake feed starting at 7:30.
