_ The 2018 40th Annual Lake Hartwell Dam Run 5K and 10K:

THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION - ALL REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON 4/30/18 - NO EXCEPTIONS

 

Join us for the 40th Annual Lake Hartwell Dam 5K and 10K.  Run through 2 states.  The 5K starts in South Carolina and runs back into Georgia.  The 10K starts in Georgia, runs into South Carolina and then back across the Dam into Georgia.

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER!

Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:00AM

5K and 10K: Begins at 8:30AM

USATF Certified Courses:
The 5K and 10K are USATF certified.  5K Certification #GA11034WC.  10K Certification #GA11033WC.

Arrive Early: 5K participants will be bused to the start.  The last bus will leave the park just after 8AM.

Parking: Free Parking is available at the Corps of Engineer office area. Restrooms available.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.coolrunning.com and www.runningintheusa.com

Series Affiliation: The races are part of the 2018 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.

Chip Timing: The 5K and 10K will be a gun start and a chip timed finish.  Bib numbers are non-transferable and must be worn by the person assigned to the bib.  Please verify all information is correct on the outside of your bib envelope before attaching the bib to the front of your shirt or shorts.  IF YOU CHANGE RACES, YOU MUST INFORM THE REGISTRATION VOLUNTEERS BEFORE THE RACE!

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
