_ The 2018 1st Annual Howard Dragon's Color Run:

On Saturday, April 28th, 2018 Howard Elementary School will be hosting its 1st Annual Howard Dragon’s Color Run. There will be a untimed 5k and 1 mile fun run throughout the neighborhood where you pass through color zones and get doused in a rainbow of color.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention month so we want to bring awareness and support to 2 amazing charities that we will be donating 10% of the proceeds to each. Child Help- Prevention and treatment for abused and neglected children. Forgotten Harvest- Stopping child hunger. The rest of the proceeds will go to each Howard classroom for teacher support and the funding of educational programs.

Prior to the race there will be yoga classes in the park offered to all ages and experience levels. There will also be a food truck rally going on throughout the event.

This is a super fun event for all ages that promotes a life-long healthy way of living and brings our strong community together to make a difference.
