Frigid 5k Trail Run & Polar Plunge...

_ The 2018 Frigid 5k Trail Run & Polar Plunge:

Camp Maranatha is hosting its first annual Frigid 5k Trail Run and Polar Plunge! We are thankful for Anytime Fitness Scottsboro and Fleet Feet Sports Huntsville to be partnering with us.

The course is a loop entirely on camp property and is comprised of trail, grass, and gravel. The course begins at the center of camp and immediately turns in to the woods to start the climb to the ridge. There is a significantly steep portion just before peaking. The course gradually slopes downward from there. Runners make the loop twice before finishing at the center of camp next to the water. 

The Swag and Awards
1. Frigid 5k t-shirts for all participants.
2. Finisher medals for all who finish.
3. Awards for top male and female finishers and for top male and female masters (40 and over) finishers.
4. Frigid 5k hand towels for those who take the plunge!

Schedule of Events

Friday, January 19 
Packet pick up and late registration. Two locations: 
Fleet Feet Sports, 2722 Carl T. Jones Dr. SE, Huntsville, AL 35802 (4-7 pm)
Anytime Fitness, 1513 S Broad St, Scottsboro, AL 35768 (12-4 pm)

Saturday January 20
6:30-7:30 am Race day packet pick up and late registration on race day.
8:00 am 5k Trail Run 
9:30 pm Polar Plunge (optional)

All proceeds will benefit Camp Maranatha, a non-profit nondenominational Christian camp in Scottsboro, Alabama.
