_ The 2018 Crofton Kiwanis/Team Surlis Realtors 10K Challenge and 5K Run:
For 29 years, this has been a great summer event. The 10K course goes around our community's tree-lined parkway loop and residential side streets, as shown on the map. It is mostly flat with a few challengeing hills. This year, we've added a 5K, which runs only on the Crofton Parkway. It measures a bit longer than 5K--closer to 5.3K.
All abilities are welcome. Particpants range from age 7 to 70+ with trophies in 10 year age groups. We have great course support with three water stops, course monitors, police and medical support. Chip technology provides instant results.

All proceeds go directly to community charities by way of Crofton Kiwanis.

Event details and schedule
RACE DAY:
Registration tables open at 6:30 am. at the event location, 1691 Crofton Parkway (Crofton Country Club north parking lot), Crofton, MD 21114. Race starts promptly at 8 am for the 10K and 8:10 for the 5K.
Race day registration is available for a $45 fee.
Pre-registered runners can pick up BIBs and timing chips, t-shirts, and other valuable giveaways the morning of the race.
Refreshments are available before and after the race.
