_ The 3rd Annual Greenfield Fire Department Road Race:

On April 21, 2018 at 9:00AM, the Greenfield Firefighters’ Association will be hosting the 3rd annual Greenfield Fire Department Road Race which will take place at Oak Park, 971 Forest Rd Greenfield, NH.

We are excited to announce that this year, we have been choosen to be apart of the Monadnock Milers MAGP race series! 

The events include the Hot Foot 5K+, the Fire Trail 10K and the Kids Smoke Stampede (for children 10 and under only).

Part of a fire department? Create a team name and register a minimum of 3 runners for the Hot Foot 5K+; the first department to have three runners cross the finish line in the fastest time will win a plaque and bragging rights.

Event details and schedule

Course Description: The mostly flat, fun 5K+ and 10K course will start and finish at Oak Park, 971 Forest Rd. Participants will travel along the beautiful back roads of Greenfield as well as a short stretch of Forest Rd.

The Kids Smoke Stampede will consist of one lap around the ½ mile track at Oak Park.

Amenities:

 - T-shirts will be provided to the first 50 registered runners and walkers (not including Kids Smoke Stampede participants).

 - Race results will be posted on coolrunning.com on race day as well as emailed to those registrants who provide an email address. Results will also be posted on the GFD Road Race web page, www.gfdroadrace.webs.com   

 - Awards will be presented to the first overall male and female Hot Foot 5K+ and Fire Trail10K finishers as well as the top finishers in the following age categories: 15 and under, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+ for both the 5K+ and 10K races. An award will also be given to the first fire department team to have 3 members complete the 5K+ course.

Early Registration Fees: $25.00 per person, $55.00 per fire department team for the first 3 runners, each additional team runner is $15.00. $5.00 per child for Kids Smoke Stampede course (children 10 and under). Please note; you may pre-register for the Kids Smoke Stampede, however, t-shirts are for runners and walkers participating in the 5K+ and 10K races only. Registration form and signed waiver must be received by April 1, 2018 for Early Registration.

Race Day Registration Fees: $30.00 per person, $60.00 per fire department team for the first 3 runners, each additional team runner is $15.00. $5.00 per child for the Kids Smoke Stampede course (children 10 and under). Registration will begin at 7:30am at the registration booth.

Please note Road Race in the memo line.  Race packets will be available 7:30am – 8:30am at the registration booth on race day. Each participant must fill out a registration form and sign the waiver.
