_ The 2018 Minute Man 5K & 10K:

The Westport Young Woman’s League will be hosting it’s 40th annual running of the Minute Man Race on Sunday, April 22nd, with events starting at 8:00a.m. The event will consist of a USA Track and Field Race Certified 10K run, 5K run or walk and Kids Fun Run, taking place at Westport’s famed Compo Beach.  

Race proceeds directly benefit charities with an emphasis in education located in lower Fairfield County as well as Westport based agencies.

RACE START TIMES:

• 5K Run & Walk - 8:30AM at South Compo Beach • 10K Run - 8:40AM at South Compo Beach • Kids’ Fun Run - 8AM warm-up (races begin at 8:30AM) at the basketball courts near the Marina

Arrive early for best parking; volunteers will be there to direct you as early as 7AM!

RACE DETAILS:

• 5K Run, 5K Walk and 10K Run – all participants under 13 must participate with an adult • Kids' Fun Run – parents must be present during the race; no drop-offs
