Rajin' Cajun 5k and Fun Run ~ Results...

 On February 10, 2018, the very first Rajin’ Cajun 5k and Fun Run will commence in Glennville, Georgia in memory of Jeff Armstrong.  Jeff lived in Glennville, Ga and made giving back to his small community a priority.  He was also a native of Louisiana where he was born and raised and his cajun roots ran deep.  In his memory, we are hosting this first 5k in true Mardis Gras fashion!  All proceeds from the Rajin' Cajun race will benefit the Jeff Armstrong Memorial Foundation.  The goal of this foundation is to raise enough funds to provide a college scholarship for selected graduating seniors from the two local schools from which Jeff’s children graduated, Tattnall County High School and Pinewood Christian Academy.  Your participation and support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to having you at the first annual Rajun Cajun 5k!

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet/t-shirt pickup will begin at 7:15 AM in the Southern Medical Group parking lot in Gennville, Georgia.  Parking is also available in this lot.  Restrooms are located in Southern Medical Group.  The one mile fun run will start at 8 AM followed by the 5K at 8:30 AM.  Dress in your best Mardis Gras attire to celebrate the festive occasion! The best dressed will be awarded a prize. Complimentary beads and masks will also be available at the race. Following the race, awards will be given to the top male and female runner in each age category and the top male and female runner overall.  There will be bouncy houses and refreshments as well as a bike and wagon parade, too!  Decorate your bike or wagon as a Mardis Gras float to win a prize. Lots of fun will be on the agenda, so we look forward to having you at the first annual race!
