_ The 2018 Strides Diabetes Awareness & 5k Run:

Please join us on Sunday April 29, 2018 at 9:00AM in historic Lewiston, New York for the Strides Diabetes Awareness and 5K Run/Walk! The event is being brought to you by the Lewiston Community Lion's Club and 100 % of the proceeds from the race will be used to send children with Type 1 Diabetes to Camp Badger (a camp for children with diabetes).

After the race, join us inside Lewiston Fire Hall #1 beginning at 10:00am for a variety of wellness activities and stations related to diabetes awareness and screening, health and nutrition, and advice from medical professionals. The wellness event is free to the general public!

Official Start 9:00AM
The 5K race will start and finish on Onondaga Street behind the fire hall. Links to the interactive course map are located at the top of the page. There will be one water stop located midway through the course and bottled water will be handed out at the finish line.
