_ The 2018 MI2020 Race for the Inlet:
Join us for the family-friendly Murrells Inlet 2020 Race for the Inlet on March 31, 2018 in Murrells Inlet, SC. The race features a 5K Run, 5K Walk, and 8K Run through the breathtaking views of the Inlet on Easter weekend! Included in the price is a post-race breakfast at one of Murrells Inlet's finest restaurants directly on the water! Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in all age groups will be awarded!
Event details and schedule
The Race for the Inlet has a shotgun start at 8AM on March 31st in front of the Murrells Inlet 2020 office located at 4124 Hwy 17 Business (across from The Wicked Tuna Restaurant).

Pricing below includes a chipped bib (all runners and walkers are chipped), an MI2020 Race for the Inlet t-shirt, a swag bag and a post-race breakfast buffet at one of Murrells Inlet's finest restaurants!

5K Walker - $30
8K Runner - $35
*Add a $5 late fee for any registration received after March 26th.
Packet pick-ups (you may pick up for someone else if necessary):
Wednesday, March 28th - 9AM-4PM
Thursday, March 29th - 9AM-4PM
Friday, March 30th - 9AM-7PM
Saturday, March 31st (race day) - begins at 6:30AM
Parking is available along Hwy 17 Business through the Marshwalk Business District. Roads will begin closing at 7:30ish, so please be prepared to arrive early to park.
Prizes for runners will be awarded based on chip timing
to the top three male and top three female 5K and 8K entries.
Also the top three in each of the following age groups for
Male and Female in each race:
10 & under/11-15/16-20/21-25/26-30/31-35/36-40/
41-45/46-50/51-55/56-60/61-65/66-70/
71-75, 76+.
USATF certified courses.
Timing provided by Coastal Timing.
Self-timing with finish line clock also available.
