_ The 2018 St. Patrick's Day Color Run:
This year, the National Honor Society (NHS) Queen Anne’s County High School Chapter, is holding a Saint Patrick’s Day 5K Color Run on March 17th, 2018. The proceeds from the run will benefit the Compass Regional Hospice that serves Queen Anne’s, Kent & Caroline Counties. The Compass Regional Hospice is a community-based non-profit organization which supports and helps community members living with life-limiting illnesses. They offer grief –support as well for families, and exceptional end-of-life care for those in need.
This will be a fun run for all ages, with runners drenched head to toe in colored powder throughout the route. Each participant will receive an event t-shirt as well as colored powder to throw during the run.
Event details and schedule
The 5K will be held at Queen Anne’s County High School: 125 Ruthsburg Road, Centreville MD 21617. Concessions will be sold at the event, as well as extra shirts. Concessions will continue to be sold until noon.
Registration will begin at 8am on March 17th by the Queen Anne's County Stadium.
The runners will start promptly at 9:00 am.
