GENERAL INFO & TIPS FOR ALL R4H RACE PARTICIPANTS & PARTNERS IN AWARENESS

We want a sea of red! We want everyone to WEAR REDto show their support for the cause. Prepare to experience more than just a race. Bring your lawn chairs so you can enjoy the performances and presentations from center stage before the race. Pick a team meeting spot in advance (i.e., Front of the Welcome Center or Riverquarium). This will be a good frame of reference should you and the members of your team get separated. We recommend that you bring a cell phone to the park so that you can contact those you are hoping to meet up with. There will be no announcements for “lost folks” from the stage.

Please check the weather forecast in advance and dress appropriately. We recommend comfortable, light clothing of your choice with comfortable sneakers. If the weather forecast calls for it, bring sunglasses; sunscreen; a disposable poncho or an umbrella in case of rain; and any other personal items you might need. Water stations will be available throughout various areas of the event. Refreshments will be available to all registered participants after completing the race. Food Trucks will be available for RUN FOR HOPE participants to purchase additional snacks.
