_ The 2018 Backpack Community Run/Walk:

The Backpack Community Run/Walk sponsored by Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry is a 5k run/walk in Wattles Park. Starting and finishing at Battle Creek Friends Church, with the course going through Ott Biological Preserve. 

This is a self-timed event with all proceeds benefiting Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry (LTN). LTN is a local charity that supports our community by providing meals for families and lunches for children in conjunction with the Food Bank of South Central Michigan, Battle Creek Community Foundation and City Linc.

All are welcome. Strollers and dogs on leashes included. There will be prizes for the top male and female finishers. Post-race snacks and activities for children. Guaranteed t-shirts for all participants registered before April 13, 2018.
