_ The 2018 Sarah Strong 5K and 10K:

The 5th Annual Sarah Strong Run 10k Run, 5K Run/Walk, and 1 mile kids fun run will be held in down town Elkhart on March 10, 2018.  All proceeds from the Sarah Strong Run will go towards the "Passionately Purple, the Sarah Crane Foundation" which assists other local families whose children have cancer.   

Packet pickup will be held on Friday March 9, 2018 from 5PM-8PM (Location to be named later) and In Elkhart at the race on March 10 from 7:00AM-8:30AM.  The race will start from Bicentennial Park (100 N. Elkhart Ave)  in Dowtown Elkhart.

Sarah Crane was a sophomore at Elkhart Memorial High School when she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on July 3, 2013.  She was one of the youngest, at age 15, to be diagnosed with such an advanced form of colon cancer.  On Decemeber 7, 2013, Sarah lost her battle.  Sarah was a fighter and as she continued to battle the disease, she encouraged us all to be #SarahStrong no matter what we face in our daily lives.
