The fifth annual New Orleans Superhero Race will be held on February 24, 2018. It will make its way along the new Lafitte Greenway, starting and finishing on N. Jefferson Davis Parkway at Bienville Street.
Proceeds from the race benefit CASA New Orleans, a nonprofit that fights for the rights of abused and neglected children in St. Bernard and Orleans parishes.
Dressed in Superhero costumes, the runners will race a 5k course through the Lafitte Greenway, while children age 12 and under will race a 1k course down the Jefferson Davis Trail. Runners will compete to win prizes for best costume, best pet costume, and most money raised by a group or individual. There will be an after party following the race, and kid's activities organized by Discovery FEST Enrichment Program. Don't miss out on this fun opportunity to support CASA New Orleans!
