_ The 2018 Choose Consent 5K:

The fun run/walk is in support of sexual assault awarenss month! All proceeds will be benefiting Women's Aid Service, a non-profit based in central Michigan. Women's Aid Service works to support and empower survivors of sexual violence through counseling, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis line and community outreach initiatives. Your support of this 5K will allow us to make sure we are providing the best possible resources available to those in need! 

Event details and schedule

The 5K will take place on April 21st, 2018 in Island Park in Mt. Pleasant, MI. The race will begin at the West Pavilion in Island Park and the course will wrap around the city's park system! 

Registration begins at 10:30 and the race will begin approximately at 11:00am. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in! Leased pets are welcome to run/walk the 5K with you, and the race is open to people of all ages. 

All participants will receive a shirt and goodie bag and after the race there will be food and beverages available. A raffle with great prizes will also take place once the race is completed! 

You may choose to register on-site and pay in cash or check. If you register online please print out your confirmation and bring it on race day.
