_ The 2018 Rail Trail 5K and 5 Mile Fun Run/Wal:

Fast and flat along the Belfast Rail Trail, beside the Passagassawakeag River. Two water stops. Everyone is welcome to join from those looking to run a personal best to families wanting to share a healthy run/walk. This is an entirely off road, safe, and wide trail that is scenic and fun.

This event is the second of five in the Run Belfast 2018 series being held in Belfast, Maine (more at www.runbelfast.com).

Event details and schedule

When:  Saturday, June 2, 9:00 am start

Where:  Near the Armistice Bridge, Pierce Street, Belfast, Maine

Race-day registration and Race # pick-up:  Race day between 8:00-8:45 a.m.

Fee:  Individual - $20 through May 30; $30 race day; $15 for active duty military/seniors/youth ($25 on race day) / Family - $15 per family member through May 30; $25 per family member race day. Neck gaiters are guaranteed for all runners who register through May 31, 2018; after that date, neck gaiters are available while supplies last

Awards:  Overall female and male; then top M & F in each of 9 age groups (pre-teen thru 80+)
