_ The 2018 King of the Mountain Road Race:

This is the 13th running of the King of the Mountain Road Race, which is an annual event benefiting Good Shepherd School on Lookout Mountain. The four-mile race is a competitive event on a course with rolling hills and a fast downhill finish over the last mile and a half. The course runs along the east and west brows of Lookout Mountain and passes the Incline,  historic Point Park and Sunset Rock.

Due to limitations of our host facility, Registration for the 4-mile Race will be capped at 210 participants this year, so be sure to sign up early so you won't miss this great event!! 

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-ups will be Friday, May 11, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Good Shepherd School, 211 Franklin Road, Lookout Mountain, TN, or onsite Saturday morning beginning at 6:30 am.  The 4-mile race will start at 8:15 am.  The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:00 am.  Awards for the 4-Mile race, which will be chip-timed, will be at 9:30 am.  Great door prizes following awards.  Must be present to win a door prize.
