_ The 2018 Greater Galena River Trail Run:

The inagural Greater Galena River Trail Run will take place Saturday, May 19, 2018 on the scenic Galena River Trail located in Historic Galena, IL. The trail is located at the Galena Depot Park 101 Bouthillier Street and starts in the parking lot under U.S. Highway 20 bridge. This new race will feature a 10K, 5K, and a children's fun run. Proceeds from this race will go toward future Galena Kiwanis playground renewal projects in the City of Galena.
