_ The 2018 5k Run for Breast Cancer Awareness:

The American Cancer Society estimates there will be 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer in the U.S. by the end of the year, and about 39,620 deaths from the disease. The statistics are alarming, and that’s why it’s so important to be aware of ways to help prevent the disease and find more effective cures. That is why the ladies of the Eta Chi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha would like to invite you to join us in our third annual Think Pink 5K. All proceeds will go directly to Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation to be used to support Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. This event is family-friendly, with the goal to help raise funds and awareness, while bringing our community together. Participants are encouraged to dress in pink.
