• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 5K Run :- Run 3.1 Miles
• 10K Run :- Run 6.2 Miles
• 2 Mile Run/Walk:- Run 2 Miles

_ The 8th Annual Outrun Childhood Obesity:

Fee: ½ Marathon-$50 10K- $40 5k & 2mile- $35 

Prices will increase $5.00 per event on March 9th and March 23rd. Make sure to register early to avoid price increase. 

Schedule of Events:

8:00am-9:45am Check in and registration (arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your race start time!)

9:00am 1/2 Marathon start time

10:00am 10K start time

10:15am 5K & 2 mile start time

Race will begin & end at Peebles Softball Complex 518 S 9th St, Garden City KS. Out and back Course. Registrations received after March 23rd, 2018 will not be guaranteed a shirt. ALL same day registrations must be completed by 9:45am (4/7/18) to guarantee chip timing.

The 8th Annual Outrun Childhood Obesity ½ Marathon, 10k, 5k, 2 mile run will raise funds to benefit the GCRC Fit Camp program. Fit Camp is designed to help youth understand and appreciate a healthy and active lifestyle. Fit Camp is provided to participants at no cost to the families. Outrun Childhood Obesity provides funding for equipment, participant t-shirts, healthy snacks, instructors for Fit Camp, and much, much more.

 ½ Marathon & 10k Course include several hills. ½ Marathon finisher’s awards! Water stations at mile 1, 1.55, 3.1, 5, 6.55, and at the same locations on the route back. (1/2 Marathon participants only) Port’O Potty will be available at the turn around points for the 10k & ½ Marathon.

Event details and schedule

Check-in & Registration begins at 8:00am-9:45am at 518 S. 9th Street, Peeble's Softball Complex. Please arrive atleast 15 minutes prior to your race time.
