_ The 2018 Hodag Run for Your Life:

The YMCA of the Northwoods is excited to host the 12th Annual Hodag Run For Your Life featuring the Half Marathon, 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk and the Free Kids Chase the Hodag.

Half Marathon sponsored by Nicolet National Bank will begin at 8:00AM, followed by the 10K Run, sponsored by Habush, Habush, & Rottier, at 8:45AM and the 5K Run/Walk and Stroller Division, sponsored by Superior Diesel, at 9:15AM.

A free youth race, Chase the Hodag, sponsored by Rhinelander Kiwanis, takes place at 10:30AM. The first 200 registered youth participants receive a free Hodag Run for Your Life T-shirt along with a souvenir numbered race bib. Parents are encouraged to run with their children, push them in a stroller, or carry them on their shoulders.

Event details and schedule

Race Start Times: All races start at Hodag Park's beach house. Half Marathon (Nicolet National Bank) starts at 8:00AM. 10K (Habush, Habush & Rottier SC) starts at 8:45AM, 5K (Superior Diesel) starts at 9:15AM. Kids Chase (Kiwanis) starts at 10:30AM.

Race Routes: Please see the map for routes The course is non-looping and exits Hodag Park following the roads North into Pine Lake via River Road. The Start/Finish will be at Hodag Park's beach house with each race going out to a designated turnaround point and coming back on the same route to Finish at Hodag Park.

Pre-Registration Pickup: Friday, June 22, 5:00-7:00PM at YMCA of the Northwoods (2003 E. Winnebago Street, Rhinelander, WI, 54501).

Race Day Pickup & Registration: Saturday, June 23 at race start. Pickup begins at 7:00AM until 15 minutes before the race start.

Corporate Cup Challenge: Corporate winner is the team with the most registered finishing participants. Group rates apply.

Age Brackets for 5K, 10K, Half Marathon: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. Half Marathons will receive a finishing metal!

Parking: Please park at Hodag Park, lots of parking available.

FREE Kids Chase the Hodag Sponsored by Kiwanis: Registration on Saturday, June 23 at race start, from 7:30-10:00AM. FREE t-shirts to first 200 registered. For ages 12 and under.
