_ The 2018 Winona Firefighter 5K/10K:

Join us for the 5th Annual Winona Fire 5k Run/ Walk. New this year we have added a 10K event. The event is Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at 9:00 am. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age division for the 5k. The top overall male and female finishers will receive trophies in both events. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association

Event details and schedule

Packet Pickup: Available at the Fire Station at 451E 3rd Street from 3-6pm on Friday April 20th and also on race day at the Lions Shelter/Gepner Pavilion at 7:30-8:45am.

Race day registration: Race day registration will be $25.00 per person, $10 for children 17 and under. Registration will begin at 7:30am on race day, at the Lions Shelter at East Lake Park in Winona.

Course: This is an “out and back” 5k Run/Walk, beginning at the Lions Shelter on East Lake Park Drive in Winona, MN. The course is mostly flat and fast. Address: 525 Lake Park Drive, Winona, MN.  The 10k course will be a loop around both lakes with an additional segment and will begin and end at the pavilion.

Awards: Overall Male and Female, top 3 both male and female in the age groups. Special Award for top Fire Department Team.

Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65+
