_ The 2018 Running for Tyler 5K Run/Walk:
Come help us celebrate the life of Tyler Michael Beckett! Tyler passed away on January 6, 2017 by taking his own life. To honor Tyler's brilliant mind, love of learning and desire to help others, we have established the Tyler Beckett Memorial Scholarship. All proceeds from this race go directly towards that scholarship.
One of Tyler's passions in life was running, although he would tell you how much he hated it. He was never a fan of street races or track, he had a deep love for cross country. The First Annual Running for Tyler 5k will be held at the Broughton's Nature and Wildlife Education Area in Marietta, Ohio. Tyler loved this area as it was the home course for his high school cross country team, the Marietta Tigers.

In keeping with Cross Country Tradition, we will be having a "pasta feed" the night before the run at Undo's in Marietta.
