_ The 2018 Scranton Half Marathon:

The 5th edition of the Scranton Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 8th, 2018, beginning and ending in Valor Credit Union Field at Memorial Stadium. The goal of the race is to provide a superior event highlighting the local area and in doing so, bring increased exposure and revenue for local businesses. Proceeds from the 2017 event will benefit the continued development of the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail.

• For the 2018 you will receive your first name on your race bib if registered before March.

The TEAM Competition

• We had great feedback with the Family Team competition started last year.  We heard what your thoughts, and the consensus was to turn it into a general team competition so you could team up with friends and family alike.  The process hasn't changed:

1. When signing up, create a team.
2. Make sure each member of your team uses the same team name when registering (case sensitive).
3. You must have at least 3 members on your team to score.  You may have as many members on your team as you want.
4. Fastest combined time of three fastest members will count towards your score.
5. Fastest team will be honored at the after-party.

Refund Policy Remains!

• From September 1st until December 31st a full refund will be given.
• From January 1st until February 28th a 25% refund will be given.
• Beginning March 1st, no refunds will be given.
