_ The 4th Annual OCBA Law Day 5k:

We’d like to invite you, your family, your friends, your firm, and your organization to join us for our annual community event, Orange County Bar Association, Inc.'s (OCBA) Law Day 5k run/walk. The Law Day 5k Run/Walk is an event that supports free civil legal aid programs and attracts runners and walkers from the Orange County and Central Florida legal community.

On April 7, 2018, the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) will host the 4th Annual OCBA Law Day 5k Run & Walk with the scenic race course running through the beautiful Lake Baldwin Park. All proceeds raised benefit the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. and the Orange County Bar Association Foundation, Inc.

The Orange County Bar Association Foundation focuses on community education. From the consequences of one's actions, to how the judicial system works, to supporting the local schools, to mentoring, the Foundation helps citizens gain a better understanding of the judicial system.

The primary purpose of the Legal Aid Society is to provide quality legal services for the low-income residents, the working poor, children, and disadvantaged groups with special legal needs in Orange County, Florida, and to assist in providing legal aid services to similarly situated residents of neighboring counties through an effective and fiscally sound program through the combined efforts of staff and pro bono attorneys.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION -$35.00 per registration (cash, checks made payable to "OCBA", and credit card payments will be accepted on race day)

FREE KIDS RUN
Upon completion of the 5K there will be a FREE kids Run, where all kids who participate receive a kids finisher medal.  No race shirts will be given for the kids run.  In order to receive a Law Day 5k race shirt or a die cast finisher medal, participants must register for the actual Law Day 5k.   You may register online for the Kids Run or the morning of the race.

VIRTUAL RACE PARTICIPATION!!!!
Are you not able to make it to the race but still want to participate? You can participate in the Law Day 5k from virtually anywhere in the World!!  

Here's how it works:  Register online by March 15th and make sure you select Law Day 5k Virtual Race.  The Thursday before the race we will email you a race bib On Saturday, April 7th, or within a week of the 5k, run or walk the 5k distance wherever you are or even on a treadmill! Post a photo and share your virtual race experience on your social media by tagging the race #lawday5k.  Approximately 2 weeks following the race, you will receive your race shirt and finisher medal by U.S. Priority Mail.  **For those virtual participants outside of the United States, additional fees may apply to cover the cost of international postage.**  

EARLY PACKET PICK UP WILL BE ONLY FOR ONLINE RACE REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED BY 6 PM EST ON APRIL 3, 2018
