The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach will partner with the City of North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand Running Club to host the fifth annual “Run for the Shelter” 5k and 1 mile Dog Walk.  In addition, we will be combining this event with The Doggie Bone Hunt which is a twist on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Bones are hidden around the park and pet parents must collect as many bones as possible before their canine companions consume the bones.

Packet pick up on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Chick-fil-A, 690 Hwy 17 N, North Myrtle Beach

Race Start Time: 9:00 a.m.

Packet Pick Up is on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m at Chick-fil-A, 690 Hwy 17 N, North Myrtle Beach or from 7:30 a.m.  – 8:45 a.m.  on the morning of the race at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex -Sandhills Bank Amphitheater. 

Fees: $25 until April 6, $30 on Race Day

T-Shirts: Available to participants registered by Monday, March 26, 2018

Awards: 5k Top 3 Male & Female, Top 3 Male and Female in each age group

Walk Start Time: 11:00 a.m.

Check In and T-Shirt Pick Up is on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m at Chick-fil-A, 690 Hwy 17 N, North Myrtle Beach or  on the morning of the walk from 10:30 a.m.  – 11:00 a.m. at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex -McLeod Seacoast Meadow across from the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater.

Fee:  $15

Start time: 12:00 p.m.

Check In, T-Shirt and Bucket Pick Up is on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m at Chick-fil-A, 690 Hwy 17 N, North Myrtle Beach or the morning of the event from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex -McLeod Seacoast Meadow across from the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater.

1 Mile Dog Walk and Doggie Bone Hunt:
