_ The 2018 When The Eagles Fly 3K & Little Eagle Kids Dash:

Join us for the inaugural When The Eagles Fly 3K on Friday April 13th, 6:30 pm at Booker T. Washington Elementary School (707 Howard Street, Lexington, KY 40508).

Our event will include a 3K (1.86 miles) run/walk and also a Little Eagle Kids Dash, Overall & Age Group Awards for the 3K, music, kids activities and finishers medals for all kids (12 and under).

The proceeds of this race will be used to benefit the students at Booker T. Elementary because as we say and this is true to my heart "its about the kids"!

The course will begin behind the school, circle the baseball fields and basketball courts and wind up back behind the school. The racing terrain will be partially paved and flat but will include some grass running as well for you cross country fans.

The school is located behind the basketball courts @ Douglass Park on Howard Street off Georgetown Road. Parking is located in the rear of the school.
