_ The 2018 Walk a Mile In Her Shoes hosted by Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County:

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is an annual fundraiser held by Rape Crisis Intervention Service (RCIS). The proceeds directly benefit RCIS and help us continue offering free and confidential services to victims of sexual violence, as well as their families.

Why is this a "Men's March"? Most awareness events and discussions on how to stop sexual assaults are targeted almost exclusively to women.  We want to invite men to join in the discussion on how to end sexual and gender violence in our community.

How to Participate:

Step 1: Register

Register as an individual or create a team name, and have your friends join the team, (a team can consist of 2 or more people).

Register to Walk:

Adults: $35.00

Students: $25.00

Children (12 years and under): $5.00

Important:  Beginning March 28, t-shirts will no longer be included with registration fee. They will be for sale at the event.

Step 2: Start collecting donations

Since this is a major fundraising event for us, we encourage everyone participating to raise a minimum of $50.00.

Fundraising will remain open until Friday, April 20, 2018.

Step 3: Challenge your friends and family members to participate in the walk!

Encourage your friends and family to walk with you, and invite them to join your team.

Step 4: Walk the WALK

Breakfast will be provided by the Lineboro-Manchester Lions Club

Walk BEGINS at 11:00am    

The walk ENDS at Westminster City Park

After the walk, enjoy pizza from Genova's To Go Westminster!
