_ The 2018 The Fast and the Furriest 5k/1k:

The Fast and the Furriest is a 5k/1k annual race to help fundraise for the Critical Care Companion Animal Fund.  The Critical Care Companion Animal Fund was created to help pets who are in desperate need of critical veterinary care, however the family of that pet is unable to provide the finances needed to cover the veterinary costs needed for medical treatment. This fund is for small, large, and exotic animals and is available for residents who demonstrate need.  The Fast and the Furriest also raises awareness about preventative care of our pets and provides a funfilled day of exercise, education, and food!

Event details and schedule

Date: Saturday June 09, 2018

Time: Registration begins @ 7:30, Races begin @ 9:30am, Kiddo Race begins @ 10:30am, BBQ to follow

Where: Central Wyoming College Campus, Circle Drive Loop 2660 Peck Ave, Riverton, WY 82501

Awards: Top male and female 5K/1K racers, fastest male and female with pet, top kiddo racers, and various awards 
chosen throughout the race (i.e. most furry, most athletic, most creative, most tricks, etc.)
