_ The 2018 Chicago Chinatown 5K & Youth Run:

Please join us for the July 8, 2018 Chicago Chinatown 5K Youth Run. The Chinatown 5K race is a fast course that runs through the heart of Chicago Chinatown. We also feature a 200 meter (age 6-8) and a quarter mile (age 9-11) youth run. All finishers of the 5K and the Youth Run will automatically be entered into our post race raffle drawing, so don’t miss it!

Event details and schedule

Date/Time
The race will start promptly at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018.

5K Race Course
Starting at Chinatown Square on Archer Avenue, the race features a fast course with a turn around at 34th Street. Runners will run through the heart of Chinatown and finish back again at Chinatown Square.

Youth Run
Kids ages 6 – 11 will also have the opportunity to participate in an organized run after the 5K race. The kids’ 200 meters (age 6-8) and a quarter mile (age 9-11) race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The race will be held along Archer Ave., near Chinatown Square. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend to cheer on the runners.

Race day registrants (cash only) and packet pick-up from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

First Aid
A first aid tent will be set up in Chinatown Square for participants. An ambulance will also be on call for emergencies.

Post Race Raffle Drawing!
All finishers of the 5K and the Youth Run will automatically be entered into our post race raffle drawing, so don’t miss it!
