The Dome Roam 5K Fun Run Walk Roll takes you through the beautiful scenic stretches of the MSU campus as a celebration of spring and Earth Day!
Imagine a tropical garden Biodome of lush plants, splashing waterfalls, and curving paths with around the bend mystery, right next to Shaw Hall, like a sparkling gem in the heart of the MSU campus. Warm and aromatic all winter long, designed for weddings, concerts, plays, so people could meet, relax, learn, connect with nature and grow healthier together. The Student Biodome Project’s Dome Roam 5K will help create this year round community gathering space.
The race will start and finish behind "The Rock" on Farm Lane, The field behind the rock is known as Auditorium Field and is located right beside the Red Cedar river.
Awards - Gift certificates for 1st and 2nd, male and female, in age groups and for Roll participants.
Also 1st and 2nd, male and female, for best dressed for the “Earth Day” theme.. Age groups 12-15; 15-20; 21-30; 31-40; 41-50; 51-60; 61-70; 71-80; 81+
Packet Pickup: Race day starting at 11:00 AM in Auditorium Field between the Rock and river
Parking: South of river across Farm Lane bridge in the Erickson Hall parking lot.
The race will be chipped timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
