_ The 2018 Helen's Run/Walk:
A 5K Run/Walk to support people who are Deaf-Blind
SUNDAY, APRIL 22nd 2018
Please join us, RAIN or SHINE, for a 5K Run/Walk through beautiful Sands Point, Long Island, as we raise funds for programs and services that benefit people who have a combined vision and hearing loss.
LOCATION: Sands Point Preserve, 127 Middle Neck Road, Sands Point, NY
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
• T-shirt • Refreshments (Register by April 5th to guarantee T-shirt size. T-shirts are not guaranteed
for same-day registration.)
WALKERS/RUNNERS:
Individuals of all ages and disabilities are welcome to participate. Participants under 18 years of age must
have waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Check-in & Registration: 7:45 - 9:00 am
Official Start: 9:30 am
All proceeds from Helen’s Run/Walk 2017 will go directly to HKNC’s programs and services. With your support, HKNC will be able to continue to offer a rich variety of innovative programs and services for our consumers as they seel to attain their own definition of success and independence.
