_ The 5th Annual “Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race:
The 5th Annual “Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race” is being held on the night of August 11th 2017 at Beachaven Winery on Dunlop Lane in Clarksville, Tennessee. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 8:00pm and the 5K will start at 8:30pm.
This event is being held to raise funds to assist the families of Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers who are killed or seriously injured in the Line of Duty.
Deputy Johnson lost his life on January 12th 2014 in a vehicle crash while on duty with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Bubba had previously served with the Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service and the Clarksville Police Department.
Registration Information
There is a $25.00 entry fee for the 5K and $5 for the 1 mile Fun Run. If you register for the 5K you can run in the Fun Run for free...no need to sign up for both!
NEW THIS YEAR…we have a category for our Friendly Four Legged Runners…yes dogs will have a chance to compete for a medal!The Dog Fee is $15 (no shirt included).
All 5K runners who register before MIDNIGHT on July 22nd will receive a free race t-shirt.
Extra shirts can be purchased by both 5K runners and the 1 Mile Fun Runners during registration until midnight on July 22nd
Online Registration cut-off is MIDNIGHT on July 29th. The first 300 Registered Runners will receive a “Swag Bag” with items from local merchants.
We will have Race Day Registration available from 6pm to 730pm for both the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run…$30 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run.
CRC will be Chip Timing all 5K runners this year…including the Race Day Registration Runners and our Friendly Four Legged Runners!
Age Divisions
Custom medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Male and Female in 6 age divisions (humans only!) Custom medals for the 1st Male and 1st Female overall...as well as for our 1st Place Male and Female Canine Runner!

Event details and schedule
Parking…we will have parking across the street at the warehouse …watch for Deputies to direct you to parking. Please do not park in front of or on the side of the gas station. That is for their employees and customers.
CRC Timing Chip Pick Up will be race night by the winery…you need to get your chip to get a time! Note: the chips will not pick up at the finish unless they are placed on your shoe laces. At the finish line volunteers will be removing the chips, so please use both zip ties when securing the chips to your shoe lace.
The Winery...The Winery will be open until 730pm for you shopping pleasure! Coolers are welcome…but please do not bring any outside alcohol.

Fleet Feet (The Runners Hub) on Wilma Rudolph Blvd on Friday the 10th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm; and race day at the Winery from 6pm to 7:30pm. Please bring a Photo ID with you!
