Get Homecoming week off to a RUNNING start with the Inaugural Run the Tac with the Pac 5K!
What better way to start your Sunday morning than a nice little jog/run? Come join UW Tacoma and others in celebrating the beginning of the University of Washington's Homecoming week! This is your opportunity to come out, run, walk, and show your Husky Spirit! The route will begin and end on the UW Tacoma campus, while going through the downtown area.
All proceeds benefit the UW Tacoma Scholarship Fund
Course Info
This 3.1 mile race is perfect for both runners and walkers. Use it as a
warm-up for the rest of your day, or create a fun, family outing.
The 5K start is at the University of Washington Tacoma campus near 17th and Commerce Street, turns left on Jefferson Avenue, travels down Jefferson Avenue, turns right on Fawcett Avenue, turns right on 11th Street, turns right on Market Street, turns left on Jefferson Avenue, then heads back down Jefferson Avenue, turns right on Commerce Street and lastly finishes by the center of the University of Washington Tacoma campus.

- From I-5 take the Tacoma City Center exit #133 onto I-705.
- Keep left to stay on I-705.
- Exit from the right lane at S. 21st Street.
- Turn left (West) onto S. 21st Street.
