Description
2013 B&A Trail Marathon & Half Marathon:
Course Info
The Half Marathon and Marathon start and finish across from the Severna Park Community Center.
The first mile is on residential streets.
The remainder of both races is on the B&A Trail - an asphalt bike and running path along a Rails-to-Trails Park.
There is a hill at mile 7.
The rest of the course is railroad grade, mostly flat.
The course is expected to be USATF certified.
Volunteers will monitor all turns and intersections.
Each mile of the Marathon and Half Marathon is marked.
The course will be closed to automobile traffic but the trail itself will be open to other runners, bikers, roller bladers, and walkers.
Please be alert and courteous to two-way trail traffic.
