Description

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore presents the Red Shoe Shuffle, on Sunday, April 14, 2013 beginning at 9am. This second annual 5K Run/Walk will be themed Shuffle for the Shuttle and will help raise funds to purchase a new shuttle for the House. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore shuttle safely transports children and families staying at the House to five area partner hospitals.

The course will start at the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore at 635 West Lexington Street, loop around M&T Bank Stadium and Oriole Park at Camden Yards and finish back at the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore. The course is fast and flat for runners with professional timing system and flat, fun and easy for walkers and families.

One hundred percent of the proceeds of the Red Shoe Shuffle will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore. Any team or individual raising over $10,000 will have their name permanently imprinted on the side of the new shuttle for all of Baltimore to see everyday. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers of the race, along with the top individual and team fundraisers.

Ronald McDonald will be on-hand to lead the warm-up and cheer participants throughout the Shuffle. There will be a Kids Fun Run and a Post Shuffle Party featuring free food and drink, live music and family fun activities. Red Shoe Shuffle partners include McDonalds Family Restaurants of Greater Baltimore, Under Armour, NFM Inc. and CBS Radio Mix 106.5.

$40 for adults before January 1; $45 January 1 March 1; $50 March 2 April 14

$10 for children under 10 before April 6; $15 after April 6
