Description
2013 Right Whale 5K Run & 2.5K Walk:
Come to the 4th annual Right Whale 5K Run and 2.5K Walk in Jacksonville Beach.
We'll have a 5K Run and a family-friendly 2.5K (1.5 mile) Walk, both starting at 8:30am, on the beautiful sands of Jacksonville Beach.
After the race enjoy more of the Right Whale Festival at Jax Beach's SeaWalk Pavilion, with foods, beach cleanup, live music, and fun activities for everyone.
Course Info
The race will begin and end on the Beach -- east of the Red Cross Lifesaving Station, where Beach Boulevard meets the ocean.
Start is at 8:30AM on the beach.
Watch for the tall colorful banners at the Start/Finish.
A non-competitive 2.5K (1.55-mile) Fun Walk is being included for all age groups and abilities.
Invite your family to come out and enjoy the fun on the beach.
