February 23, 2013, marks the 9th Annual Bobcat Ramble 5K & Fun Run.  This is a major event hosted by Georgia College, held in conjunction with our Homecoming and Alumni festivities.

The Bobcat Ramble was established in 2005 to promote healthy living and expand educational opportunities of local area students.  The ultimate goal of the Ramble is to establish an endowed scholarship at GC that will support Baldwin County students who wish to attend the University.  As Georgia's public liberal arts university, we place a great level of importance in serving the community in which we live.

In 2008, the Bobcat Ramble was designated as a memorial to John Bruner.  John was a GC cross country athlete who died August 4, 2007, while competing in the Missionary Ridge Road Race in Chattanooga.  Each year John's family participate in the Ramble and proudly present the John Bruner Memorial Award to the top male and female student-athletes.

Entry Fee: $20 

$25 on Race Day

Fun Run - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies.

Top 3 male and female in the following categories:  

Overall GC Runner
Overall Non-GC Runner
John Bruner Memorial Award (designated for GC athletes only).

1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards to male and female in the following age groups:

10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54. 55-59, 60-64, 65-over
