2009 Union County Colorfest Biathlon:
An interstate favorite. 15th annual event in southern Illinois.
Annually draws approximately 150 participants from coast to coast and all places in between.
Held in conjuntion with the Union County Colorfest celebration and the growing regional wine trail.
2009 Union County 7K Run: Newly organized race to complement the existing Union County Colorfest Biathlon (15th).
The race will cover both road and graveled trails.

Colorfest Biathlon:
The race consist of a good 5K and a great 17.5 mile bike ride through very scenic areas of Illinois.
Lots of rolling hills and an extraordinarily well marked course along with great community support, law enforcement assistance then loads of give-aways as results are prepared.
Colorfest 7K Run: This year the organization has added a solo 7K event covering both road and trail.
